Is my student dyslexic?

Dyslexia is a specific learning difficulty, or difference (SpLD). In very simple terms it is a difference in the way that the brain processes information; therefore it can have a big impact on the way that a student learns in the classroom.

The initial challenge for you as a teacher is to be able to recognise the signs of dyslexia, to have an understanding of what it is and the challenges that your students with dyslexia may face.
