British Dyslexia Association partners with Mumsnet on advice video for parents

The British Dyslexia Association has worked with leading online parenting forum Mumsnet and expert in parenting dyslexia John Hicks to produce What Is Dyslexia And What Are The Symptoms? – a quick video guide to what is dyslexia, how to support it, and what help is available and how to access it.
The video, developed and hosted by Mumsnet, guides parents through signs of dyslexia, how to provide educational and emotional support to young dyslexics, how to work with your school to get support and what to do if schools don’t offer the appropriate support. It’s a great overview for parents of young dyslexics, especially if you are new to the topic.
The British Dyslexia Association would like to thank Mumsnet and John Hicks for taking the time to make this immensely useful project happen.
