Coast Coast Walk fundraising for the British Dyslexia Association
Monday 12 July 2021
Steve and his business partner Scott successfully completed a 100 mile charity Coast to Coast walk, raising a staggering £530 for the British Dyslexia Association.
“We walked over 100 miles, coast to coast from South Shields to Bowness on Solway, via Hadrian’s Wall. We were lucky to have lots of support from those that knew us or met us enroute.”
“We chose to support the British Dyslexia Association because I, myself, have dyslexia and I know how it can affect children in schools and growing up. I believe everyone should have the same opportunities and those with dyslexia shouldn’t be overlooked.
We were very lucky with the generosity of those who donated, especially after a difficult couple of years and the current climate and raised £530.”
“As a company we have decided to have a yearly charity challenge. Great for personal development, being outside our comfort zones and challenging ourselves, as well as benefiting charities close to our heart.”
“It was also a great opportunity to have a 6 day business meeting! Walking as business partners meant we had the time to discuss our business and any ideas we had.
Enjoy the challenge! It’s more fun to do it with others and that works well with supporting each other when it gets tough. Keep your eye on the long term goal to get through it!”
