Dyslexia Week 2020: Thank you
Monday 12 October 2020
Running from 5-11 October, Dyslexia Awareness Week saw schools, businesses, ambassadors and members of our dyslexia community explore the theme of Dyslexia Creates.
We wanted to say thank you to everyone for making the week such a success. Here are some of the highlights of our week's activities.
We campaigned for change
Thousands of people signed our petition to ensure that pupils with dyslexia get the support they need to succeed in school. 80% of pupils with dyslexia leave school without a diagnosis - we're calling on the government to increase diagnosis and tailored support in schools so every child can thrive.
For those who haven't had the chance, it's not too late! Please sign our petition today.
Dozens of you shared your stories
Our incredible community shared their stories across social media throughout the week. Here is a snippet of their inspirational message for all people with dyslexia
We went red for dyslexia
This year, we supported Go Red For Dyslexia as part of a campaign by Succeed with Dyslexia to unite the global community, raise awareness and reclaim the colour red.
Thank you to our sponsors
We couldn't have achieved any of this without the help of our sponsors. Thank you for your continued support:
