Put children and young people at the heart of Government spending
Tuesday 23 October 2018
There is compelling evidence that the services and support that children and young people rely on are at breaking point. We believe this is because children and young people are being ignored in the Government’s spending plans.
Over 120+ organisations are calling for the Government to act swiftly to put children at the heart of its spending decisions. Supporters include teaching unions, children's charities, disability organisations, physical and mental health organisations and poverty campaigners. A full list of supporters is available here.
The coalition has written a letter to the Chancellor and Prime Minister calling for urgent action to prioritise children and families in the government's spending decisions. There is also a public petition to Government where members of the public can add their support. Please sign it now.
