We're launching a new Instagram TV series: Dys Diaries
Tuesday 23 February 2021
We’re thrilled to announce our new Instagram TV series, Dys Diaries. Presented by the brilliant dyslexic broadcaster and podcast host Lauren Duffy, Dys Diaries will feature open, honest conversations with thriving members of the dyslexia community.
People with Dyslexia are successful in a wide range of different fields, so our line-up will include representatives from the worlds of business, professional sport, medicine and the arts.
Tune in to hear how they have all overcome challenges and learnt to thrive. Listen as they chat to Lauren about experiences in school, university and the world of work, and discuss the advice and tools that have helped along the way.
Everyone’s experience of Dyslexia is unique to them, but we can still learn a lot from each other. Dys Diaries brings you honest stories from real members of the community, so do tune in for a little light-hearted inspiration and reassurance.
Lauren Duffy
I’m so excited and honoured to be hosting Dys Diaries for the British Dyslexia Association. As a young person with Dyslexia, Dyspraxia and Dyscalculia I have faced and overcome many challenges with my 3 Ds, but they all make me “me” and I see them as a gift!
I’m sure we can all agree that no one with dyslexia or associated conditions are the same, we are all blessed with unique strengths that we need to embrace and celebrate more. This series I’ll be interviewing some of the UK’s most successful Dyslexics, from CEOs to sporting heroes!
Lauren will be introducing the series on Friday 26 February, with the first full episode going live on Tuesday 9 March. Follow us on Instagram @BDAdyslexia for updates.
