Answer- GCSE Revision
Help him to create a revision timetable, looking at when the exams are and putting the deadlines in. Use something visual like a wall planner. Or if he prefers technology, you could look at Apps such as Trello or Notion.
Ask him if his school has produced a handout of suggested revision topics or look through his books to see what has been covered.
Suggest different techniques for revising and reviewing his knowledge. He could try mind maps; post-it notes or cue cards. Or he might prefer recording his notes onto his phone and listening back to them. Think about what works best for him and how he likes to learn.
Have a look for revision podcasts or YouTube clips he can use.
Most exam boards have past papers to download and print off so that he can practice actual exam questions.
Find somewhere quiet he can work, away from visual distractions such as the TV or his phone. Suggest he turns off any notifications while he is revising. Some students work better when listening to music.
Encourage him to take regular short breaks from his revision and to do something he enjoys. You might want to add these into the revision timetable.
