Assistive Technology and the Dyslexic Learner

Trying to choose the right technology to support your child’s education can be challenging. To offer some support and guidance, the British Dyslexia Association has teamed up with Myles Pilling to host a free webinar for parents. The session will cover:

  • Assistive technology – what’s available and how can it help
  • Helpful resources and practical tools to assist in home learning
  • Managing expectations of the school and of yourself
  • Parent vs teacher dynamic
  • Ideas for short creative activities – building confidence in using online methods
  • Coping strategies for you and your child/children
