Ways to donate
Giving in memory of your loved one
Leaving a gift in memory of a loved one, no matter the size is a meaningful way to honor and celebrate their life. It also enables us to continue our vital work in transforming the lives of individuals with dyslexia by building a more inclusive, dyslexia-friendly society. We are deeply grateful for your support during this difficult time.
Here are several ways you can support the British Dyslexia Association in memory of your loved one:
Make a dedication to someone special.

Donations in lieu of flowers
Many people chose to ask for donations to the BDA in lieu of flowers. This can be organised by the funeral directors who will send your generous gift directly to the charity of your choice. Or you can collect donations yourself and send them to us when you are ready. You can find the relevant information you might need below
Creating a tribute page
A tribute page offers friends and family a special way to share memories, photos, and stories, while also providing an opportunity to donate to the BDA. You can create a tribute page on either of the sites below. All funds raised through these pages will be sent directly to us.
Much Loved
This is your own special memorial website in tribute to your loved one, where you can share memories, thoughts and stories with family and friends as well as light candles, add music, photos and videos.

Donating in someone’s name
Donating in someone’s name can be a lovely way to honour their memory. Many people choose to request donations instead of flowers. This can be arranged through the funeral directors, who will ensure your generous gift is sent directly to the BDA. Alternatively, you can collect donations personally and forward them to us at your convenience. You can donate in memory here
