Giving in memory of your loved one
Gerard 'Robin' Salter
Gerald "Robin" Salter was elected vice-chairman of the British Dyslexia Association in 1977. He and his late wife, Jennifer Salter were also founder members of the European Dyslexia Association formed in Brussels of which he became president from 1993 to 1999.
He published reports on dyslexia and was joint editor of 'The International Book of Dyslexia'.
Robin became Jennifer's carer in later years, and suffered a stroke himself in December 2022. Just before his stroke, at the age of 89, he had his book of poems published - 'Verse and Worse'. He was the secretary of the local National Trust and enjoyed painting and gardening.
He was an amazing man and we are all so very proud of him.
